Frequently asked questions

How does the 30-day free trial work?

You get full access to every feature in your chosen plan for 30 days — no credit card required. At the end of your trial, choose the plan that fits your dance life, or let it expire with no charge. You can cancel your plan at any time.

Can I manage multiple dancers on one account?

Yes. Plus lets you manage up to 5 dancer profiles from one account, Pro supports up to 50, and Premium is unlimited — so you can keep everyone's schedules, performances, costumes, and details together instead of switching between separate accounts.

Is Pro worth $19.99 a month for a professional dancer?

Pro is for dancers whose careers run through more than one place: the studio, the stage, the classroom, and auditions. On top of everything in Basic, it adds a training log with goals and skills focus, a teaching workspace, the Routine Creator, CSV import and export, and a professional resume export. Pay yearly and it's $179, about $14.92 a month. If you only need scheduling, costumes, and show-day checklists, Basic covers those for $5.99 a month. Try Pro free for 30 days, no credit card required. You can cancel your plan at any time, so keep it only if it earns its place.

Why pay $34.99 a month for Premium when I can use free tools?

Spreadsheets, shared docs, group chats, and free calendars each do one job well. The hard part is keeping them in sync. Premium keeps your dancers, casting, choreography, costumes, and performances connected in one place. It adds a choreography library with cast assignment, unlimited dancers, your own logo and name throughout the app, and event summary reports, on top of everything in Pro. Pay yearly and it's $269, about $22.42 a month. Try every Premium feature free for 30 days, no credit card required, and compare it with your current setup. You can cancel your plan at any time.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes — this is your dance life, and it stays yours. Your account is isolated — no other user can see your dancers, schedules, or media unless you explicitly invite them. If you want to give a co-parent, grandparent, or assistant access, you can invite them via Account Sharing and choose whether they get read-only or edit permissions, and you can revoke access at any time.

Can I import my existing schedule?

Yes — you don't have to start from scratch. You can import calendars from a PDF or ICS file, with no limit on how many imports you do, and Elevé automatically sorts events into performances, trainings, reminders, and closures.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your dance information shouldn't disappear just because you decide Elevé isn't for you. When you deactivate your account, it enters a 60-day read-only grace period — you can still view all your data but cannot create, edit, or delete entries. We'll send reminder emails before the grace period ends so you have time to export everything before all of your data is permanently deleted, and you can reactivate at any point to restore full access. If a free trial expires without choosing a plan, that same 60-day window applies before anything is permanently removed.

Do I need to install anything?

Not today. Elevé runs in your web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer, so you can start right away. A dedicated Elevé mobile app is in the works, but the web app will still be available.

What is 'Talk to Elevé'?

It's our voice-powered data entry feature, built for the moments you don't have a free hand to type. Instead of tapping into one field at a time, you tap the mic and speak naturally — Elevé fills in the entire form for you in a single pass.

How is Elevé different from studio management software?

Elevé is built for dancers, families, choreographers, and company directors managing their own dance life, not for the studio office — so it doesn't handle tuition, billing, or class registration. Instead, it focuses on what you actually juggle day to day: costumes, choreography, schedules, and performance details. It costs less too, with plans starting at $5.99 a month. And if your studio already uses management software for registration and payments, Elevé works alongside it, since the two solve different problems.

Why not just use my phone calendar?

A calendar shows when and where, but not what to bring. Elevé keeps costumes, accessories, quick changes, show-day packing checklists, choreography, and media together with each performance, and sends reminders for the things a calendar can't track, like costume payment deadlines and fittings. You can even import your existing schedule from a PDF or ICS file, so you don't have to start over.
